Big data is more important than ever as it advances trends in technology across different industries. HKU's newly launched big-data related programmes are designed to equip students with the skillsets and knowledge to excel in today's digitalised world as big data professionals in different sectors.

In the coming weeks, we will hold a series of talks to give you a deeper understanding in these programmes. We have invited HKU professors and professionals in the industries to deconstruct the latest trend and market demand on big-data. The talks will also cover big-data development in medicine, engineering, humanities and business sectors, and big-data professionals' career prospects.

With an emerging demand for professionals with both scientific and legal knowledge, the opportunities in today's STEM-driven society will also be covered in the talk dedicated to our brand new Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Law double degree programme.
